Let's get to know each other.

Hi, I’m Lindsey! I’m a full-time public health professional and longtime health communicator. I love working with teams, building communities and sharing stories.

I’ve worked in newspapers, radio, magazines, nonprofits and public relations, as a reporter, editor, case manager and community organizer. I once drove Model Ts for a living.

I love writing because it allows me to learn something new every day. I firmly believe everyone has a story to tell, and I want to be the one who tells it. I’ve been recognized for my writing about domestic violence, head injuries in sports, obesity stigma and healthy housing.

When I’m not writing, I’m hanging out with my cat, volunteering with my local abortion fund and watching hockey. I serve on the board of directors for Girls Rock! DC and play music with friends. I took 10 years of polka lessons, and I think that tells you a lot about me.

I’m available for freelance writing, editing and consulting projects.
